Shori began his journey out of the “Christian cult” in which he grew up in through the ministry of his high school Bible teacher. It was not just the preaching of grace, but the gospel lived out in international community that transformed his life. His vision is to use the media to reach the young generation in Japan.
Saki grew up in a Christian family in Japan and came to know Jesus at a young age. Through her experience of growing up in a cross-cultural environment, God gave her a heart to serve the immigrant youth in Japan.
Shori and Saki got married in 2023, and they are the first Japanese staff of MTW Next team, serving the local churches and the next generation in Nagoya, Japan. They are also members of Nagoya English Fellowship, a small international church with a family-like atmosphere.
